SOIL ASSOCIATION AWARDS 2012 - HIGHLY COMMENDED FOR 3 OF OUR PRODUCTS!
We are delighted to have been Highly Commended on our Apple, Pear and Butternut Squash Purees in the recent Soil Association Awards. 'Over three days at the Duke of Cambridge organic pub in London, an expert judging panel of food critics, restauranters, broadcasters and chefs, including Hardeep Singh Kohli and Jo Wood, sipped, nibbled and crunched their way through over 500 products across 28 categories.
Judging in all categories was by blind tasting, with products rated according to smell, texture, appearance, taste and overall 'yumminess'.
The awards are open to all organic food and drink products that are certified by a recognised certifier within the EU. Winners gain industry respect and are able to use the recognised and trusted awards logo on their products.'

The Women in Business NI Awards 2011, supported by lead Sponsor, Deloitte and Media Partner, Irish News took place on the 17th of November at the Ramada Plaza Hotel, Shaws Bridge.
The range of entries from Multi nationals, to sole traders to start ups, illustrates the wonderful innovative, entrepreneurial and leadership skills possessed by Northern Ireland business women.

LOCAL BUSINESS ACCELERATORS CAMPAIGN – ONE OF 3 WINNERS IN NI
Prime Minister David Cameron, who is backing the campaign, highlighted the role of the local newspaper industry in supporting UK business as regional and local newspapers across the UK today announced the winners of Local Business Accelerators in their area.
He extended his congratulations to all the winning businesses who will receive free advertising in their local newspaper and mentoring from local business figures.
Mr Cameron said: “Congratulations to all the winners of the Local Business Accelerators scheme. It’s brilliant that so many promising young companies, from such a wide range of sectors, are benefitting from this excellent initiative.
“Entrepreneurship, creativity and ambition are essential for our economic recovery and through Local Business Accelerators, newspapers such as the News Letter, are supporting some great new British businesses to grow, and helping to boost their local economy.
“I wish the newspapers, businesses and their mentors every success over the coming months.”
Later in the year, one business will go on to be crowned the overall Local Business Accelerators winner and receive mentoring from the campaign’s national ambassador Deborah Meaden, of Dragons’ Den.
