Here are some lovely recipes which you can try at home by using our lovely little purees as ingredients!
APPLE, PEAR AND CINNAMON PORRIDGE
This is a porridge with a difference, using quinoa, rather than oats. Quinoa provides plenty of trace minerals, some slow release carbohydrate and protein for your growing baby. It is also gluten-free and easily tolerated by most babies.
Put the milk and quinoa flakes in a saucepan, bring to the boil gently, then reduce the heat and add in the apple and pear cubes. Simmer for about three minutes. Serve with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.
YUMMY VEGETABLE AND LENTIL PUREE
Place the lentils in a heavy based pan, add the water and bring to the boil. Simmer for about 25 minutes until the lentils are cooked. Add the Heavenly Tasty Butternut Squash and Carrot portions and heat through. Blitz with your blender to puree the lentils (or keep whole for older babies to encourage chewing action).
VEGETABLE MILLET MASH

Place the millet and water in a saucepan, bring to the boil and simmer for 8-10 minutes. Add the vegetable portions and cook for another 5 minutes or so until well heated through.
